Before breaking out internationally, Mixmag cover artist ABSOLUTE. was already a defining queer force in London's underground, from basements to after-hours. Rooted in years of record digging and those same dancefloors, his sound moves from raw, percussive house into surging progressive euphoria.

His remix of Bronski Beat's "Smalltown Boy" is already a fixture in peak-time sets and a touchstone for queer dancefloors. Official remixes of Kylie, George Michael, Fever Ray and Tony De Vit make it four decades of queer icons rebuilt for the floor. Recent releases have landed on Permanent Vacation, UTTU, Shall Not Fade, Hot Haus, and Maximum Airtime, with collaborators including Joe Goddard, Planningtorock, Big Wett, and Bimini.

Elsewhere: a Radio 1 Essential Mix live from Glastonbury, a 6Music "Mix of the Year," a Gay Times digital cover, and a sold-out live debut at Islington Assembly Hall. Drumsheds, Printworks, Magazine, DC10, Nitsa, Primavera Sound. Four U.S. tours and an eight-week festival run on the Australian circuit he returns to every year.

Then there is NIGHT manoeuvres, his project with Dot Major of London Grammar. Signed to fabric Records, the duo has released multiple EPs and singles and played The British Museum, Phonica Records, and fabric, plus festivals including Pitch in Australia.

His work runs beyond the club. ABSOLUTE. has curated the music for London Fashion Week runway presentations for Fred Perry x Raf Simons and Jack Irving, scored Hector Maclean's catwalk show, and fronted a Fred Perry campaign as the face of the brand's shirt. He is a regular at the shows too, from VIN + OMI to JORDANLUCA.

Across every project, solo or otherwise, the intent is the same: generous, queer, and serious about the floor.
